Martin’s Mill ISD has enrolled with STOPit, the leading technology platform for schools that deters and controls harmful or inappropriate conduct. STOPit empowers students with an easy app to safely and anonymously report anything of concern to school officials – from cyberbullying to threats of violence or self-harm. STOPit empowers students to stand up for themselves and others while giving our schools the insight we need to keep students safe.
Anyone wishing to anonymously report bullying or cyberbullying of students on our campus should download the StopIT app, and then enter our campus password. Once the incident has been reported, campus officials will investigate and respond accordingly in conjuction with state laws.
David's Law requires school officials to investigate claims of cyberbullying made both on and/or off campus. This law does not exclude incidents that take place outside the hours of school operations.
