Livestock Information:

As a chapter we attend East Texas State Fair in Tyler, Southwestern Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Houston Livestock Show in Houston and Van Zandt County in Canton.

Species/Activities that are shown/participated in this chapter with these shows are Agrobotics, Ag Mechanics where offered, Registered Heifers, Market Steers, Market Lambs, Market Goats, Market Hogs and Market Broilers.

Parents can also view www.area6ffa.org and go to the message board there is a section for “weekend” show for all different species , they can send you daily or weekly summaries of shows that are being put on by other FFA groups all over our area.

Martin’s Mill FFA livestock show will be held the 1st Saturday in November at the Van Zandt County Fairgrounds.  This show is put on with the support of our Parents, students and Booster Club.  Show flyer, class breaks and sponsorship information can be obtained from Mrs. Sukiennik or email csukiennik@martinsmillisd.net.

 

LDE / CDE / SDE

We participate in many different contest throughout the year depending on the interest of the students that are currently enrolled in our program.

 

 

 

 

FFA Booster Club / Parent Supporter form

They meet periodically throughout the year, depending on the activities of our students, will help in determining the needs of the chapter and club.  The first meeting typically follows meet the teacher in Mrs. Sukiennik’s room.  It is open to all parents of students who are enrolled in any agriculture class and any junior FFA member.

 

Handbook/Syllabus – this gives the overview of our program and expectations of students in our program

FFA Member Form  – Jr High/High school students (8-12 grade) will need to fill this out no matter the agriculture class.

Junior FFA Member Form – this is for any student in 3rd – 7th grade that is wanting to participate in Junior FFA.
