School closing 2/1/23

MMISD will remain closed on Wednesday, February 1 due to concerns over the imminent winter weather as well as concerns about power at the school.

Unsafe roads, the forecast of more potentially dangerous freezing precipitation, and the uncertainty about power at this hour just make the decision to close necessary.

Like today, the scheduled UIL games with Frankston are on at the moment. But officials from both schools will monitor forecasts, road conditions, and availability of game officials in the morning.
